A fresh development has emerged from Ranchi amid the ongoing student agitation. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke may visit Ranchi tomorrow to extend support to the protesting students, according to sources. The reported visit comes as questions have been raised over Dipke’s absence from the Ranchi student movement despite the protest continuing for several days. The student agitation has remained focused on demands related to alleged irregularities in competitive examinations, independent investigations and reforms in the recruitment process. If the visit takes place, Dipke could meet protesting students and understand their concerns directly. His possible arrival may also bring additional attention to the ongoing movement, which has already become a significant political and public issue in Jharkhand. The Ranchi protest has entered a crucial phase, with student representatives holding talks with the state government. Different student groups have presented demands concerning examination irregularities, cancellation of disputed examinations and probes into alleged wrongdoing. The government has initiated discussions with representatives of the protesting groups, while students have maintained that talks alone will not end the agitation unless concrete action is taken on their demands.
