A hearing is scheduled today in the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court regarding the alleged donation fund irregularities at the Ayodhya Ram Temple. The petition seeks an independent investigation into the alleged embezzlement of devotees’ donations, a CAG audit of temple finances, and greater transparency in the management of temple funds. Meanwhile, a video accessed by ABP News shows Ram Temple Trust General Secretary Champat Rai actively participating in a temple event held inside the temple complex. He was seen on stage along with other trust members who have also come under scrutiny in the ongoing controversy. The development is significant because recent reports based on SIT findings have reportedly raised questions about administrative lapses and the role of certain trust officials. Earlier, during a visit by Yogi Adityanath to Ayodhya, Champat Rai was reportedly kept away from official engagements, fueling speculation about internal concerns over the controversy. However, local sources point out that no official order has been issued preventing Champat Rai from attending temple-related programs. As a result, he continues to participate in trust activities while investigations and legal proceedings continue. The case remains under judicial consideration, with today’s hearing expected to be closely watched for further developments regarding accountability, financial oversight, and the future course of the probe.
