Prashant Kishor Faces Strong Protest in Madhubani as Rebel Supporters Raise Slogans

Jan Suraaj Party chief Prashant Kishor faced strong opposition during his election campaign in Madhubani, Bihar. A video circulating widely on social media shows supporters of a rebel leader from his own party raising slogans against him. The incident took place when Kishor’s convoy was passing through Loma Pahipura village in the Harlakhi Assembly constituency.According to eyewitnesses, a group of protesters gathered near the campaign route and chanted slogans, expressing dissatisfaction with Kishor’s leadership and the party’s internal issues. Despite the disruption, Prashant Kishor continued his campaign trail and addressed a gathering shortly after the incident. The protest reflects growing internal tensions within the Jan Suraaj Party as it enters the final phase of Bihar’s 2025 election campaign. Kishor, known for his image as a political strategist turned leader, has been touring several constituencies to strengthen his party’s presence. However, this episode highlights the challenges he faces in maintaining unity within his ranks as he seeks to convert his political movement into electoral success.
