Politics Alert: Maithili Thakur Eyes Bihar Entry From Bene Patti To Serve People Through BJP

Popular singer Maithili Thakur has hinted at entering politics ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, signaling a major shift from her musical career to public service. Speaking about her plans, Maithili emphasized that her focus is on serving her home region, rather than pursuing politics for personal gain. She indicated that she may contest from Bene Patti in Madhubani, her native constituency, although no official announcement has been made yet.Maithili recently met with senior BJP leaders Vinod Tawde and Nityanand Rai to discuss how she can contribute to youth development and community welfare in Bihar. While she respects leaders across the political spectrum, she feels BJP’s approach to empowering women and youth aligns with her vision for the state. Despite stepping into politics, she reassured her fans that music will always remain an integral part of her life. The singer expressed strong confidence in connecting with people at the grassroots level, stating that her priority is public service and social development. She is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for their leadership and commitment to governance. Maithili’s potential entry adds a new dimension to Bihar’s political landscape, blending celebrity influence with a focus on social work.
