The Twisha Sharma death case has intensified as police action continues in Bhopal. The Madhya Pradesh High Court has allowed a second post-mortem, and a five-member AIIMS Delhi medical team has been sent to Bhopal to conduct it. The body is being preserved, and the procedure will be video-recorded for transparency. Meanwhile, accused Samarth has been taken into custody and is expected to be produced in court today. Police are likely to seek a seven-day remand for further interrogation, after earlier confusion about a shorter custody request. He was brought to Katara Hills police station after surrendering in Jabalpur, though police sources and his lawyer differ—one calling it arrest and the other claiming voluntary surrender. Security has been tightened, and senior police officials, including the SIT head, are actively involved in the investigation. A press conference is also expected later today to reveal key details of the case. Overall, the investigation is moving rapidly with custody proceedings, second post-mortem approval, and police questioning all aimed at uncovering the truth behind Tusha Sharma’s death.
