Later in the afternoon, PM Modi will depart for China to attend the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit. His two-day Japan visit focuses on strengthening bilateral ties, particularly in infrastructure and technology, while his visit to China will revolve around strategic regional cooperation.
