Peshawar News: Major Terror Attack rocks Peshawar, Fierce Gunfight Underway

A major terrorist attack struck Peshawar around 8:10 am, targeting the Frontier Constabulary headquarters during peak morning hours. Two powerful blasts triggered chaos, followed by intense gunfire as attackers opened fire on Pakistani security forces. Initial reports confirm at least five injuries and three militants killed, while more attackers are believed to be engaged inside the compound. Ambulances rushed the wounded to hospitals amid scenes of panic. The area has been fully cordoned off, with security forces continuing a fierce encounter. Early information suggests the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan has taken responsibility and may release an official statement soon.
