Parliament: Delimitation Emerges as Key Flashpoint Ahead of Parliament’s Monsoon Session

Delimitation is expected to be one of the key issues during Parliament’s Monsoon Session, with the Samajwadi Party reiterating its strong opposition ahead of the proceedings. Speaking before the all-party meeting, SP leader Dharmendra Yadav questioned the government’s reported intent to bring a delimitation bill, alleging that it could alter the country’s democratic balance. He said the party, under Akhilesh Yadav’s leadership, would strongly oppose any such move.
