Operation Sindoor: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Warns Pakistan, Cites Ramayana Example

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, currently on a three-day visit to Rajasthan, delivered a strong message to Pakistan while addressing soldiers near the border. During his speech, Singh referred to Operation Sindoor, asserting that Pakistan has already received a “fair dose” through the operation and now clearly understands the consequences of any future provocation. The Defence Minister stated, “If Pakistan tries to act again, it knows what its fate will be.” He reminded the troops that despite ongoing development in border areas, vigilance must remain constant, as the region’s proximity to the Pakistan border makes it strategically sensitive. In a symbolic and motivational reference, Rajnath Singh drew an example from the Ramayana, recalling the episode where Angad warns Ravana of Lord Ram’s power. Singh compared India’s modern-day strength to that of Lord Ram’s army, emphasizing that even small missions by India’s forces have delivered significant impact.Earlier in the day, Singh inaugurated the newly established ‘Shauryavan’ in Jaisalmer and reviewed operational preparedness with senior Army officers. His visit underscores India’s commitment to both national defense and continued development along its borders.
