NEET Leak: CBI Arrests RCC Owner Shivraj Motegaonkar, Major Network Link Suspected

The investigation into the NEET UG paper leak scandal has taken a dramatic turn with fresh revelations against Shivraj Motegaonkar, owner of the influential RCC Coaching Institute. Sources claim Motegaonkar was an active member of the alleged paper leak network and had access to the examination paper well before the test date. According to sources linked to the investigation, Motegaonkar allegedly received the leaked NEET paper on April 23, days before the examination was conducted. Following extensive questioning, the Central Bureau of Investigation formally arrested him, citing suspicious involvement and links with other accused individuals connected to the interstate leak syndicate. Investigators believe Motegaonkar played a crucial role in circulating leaked material through mock tests and coaching modules. His institute reportedly conducted test series in which several questions allegedly matched the actual NEET examination paper almost exactly, raising serious concerns over organized exam manipulation. Known popularly among students as “M Sir,” Motegaonkar runs one of Maharashtra’s prominent coaching businesses from Latur. RCC Coaching reportedly enrolls nearly 40,000 students annually and is believed to have a turnover exceeding ₹100 crore. Motegaonkar is known for teaching chemistry and enjoys a strong reputation among medical aspirants and parents. The CBI is now probing digital records, communication trails, and financial transactions to determine the full extent of the alleged network. Officials suspect the racket may involve multiple coaching operators, education consultants, and intermediaries working together to influence examination outcomes. The arrest is being viewed as a major breakthrough in the NEET leak investigation, which has already triggered nationwide protests, student outrage, and demands for stricter examination security reforms.
