Janhit: Jaishankar Exposes Pakistan at UNGA, Calls It ‘Epicenter of Global Terrorism’ | ABP NEWS

At the United Nations General Assembly, Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar delivered a strong message, exposing Pakistan’s long-standing support for terrorism without even naming the country. In response to Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif’s anti-India remarks at the same forum, Jaishankar emphasized that India has dealt with terrorism since independence, facing a neighbor that is a “global epicenter of terrorism.” His remarks were met with applause as he underlined the need to hold terror-sponsoring nations accountable, saying, “Those who condone terrorism will find it comes back to bite them.” India further reminded the world that over 150 Pakistan-linked entities are blacklisted by the UN. India’s diplomatic team also responded sharply through the Right to Reply, calling Sharif’s speech “absurd theatrics” and accusing Pakistan of glorifying terrorism. This comes after India launched Operation Sindoor in April, targeting terror camps after a foiled Pakistani plot in Pahalgam. Despite denials, Pakistan’s own leaders, including Imran Khan, Nawaz Sharif, and Pervez Musharraf, have admitted to harboring terrorists. India’s strategy at the UN clearly aimed to isolate Pakistan diplomatically while reinforcing its stance as a global leader against terrorism.
