India Election Update: High-Voltage Election Campaigns Across States Intensify

Election campaigning across multiple Indian states has intensified with top political leaders holding rallies and roadshows. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a visit to Kerala, where he will address a public rally in Tiruvalla and conduct a roadshow in Thiruvananthapuram. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi is also campaigning in Kerala, with scheduled programs across three districts and four public meetings. Congress leader K. C. Venugopal has criticized the Pinarayi Vijayan government over alleged misleading promises related to welfare and pensions. In Puducherry, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge is set to address a rally. In Assam, Union Home Minister Amit Shah urged voters to re-elect the BJP government, while Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma strongly countered Rahul Gandhi’s remarks. BJP campaigns are also active in West Bengal, with roadshows and nomination events underway. Additionally, the BJP has released a list of 27 candidates for the Tamil Nadu elections.
