Horror in Delhi: Bodies Badly Burnt in Vivek Vihar Fire Tragedy

In the aftermath of the fire incident in Vivek Vihar, officials and eyewitnesses have shared disturbing details about the situation inside the building. The fire, reportedly caused by a suspected short circuit or AC malfunction around 3:45 AM, quickly spread across multiple floors of the four-storey building. Due to thick smoke and locked doors, several residents were unable to escape. Rescue teams recovered multiple bodies in severely burned conditions, making identification difficult. Authorities stated that many of the remains are badly damaged and may require DNA testing for confirmation. Photographs from each floor have been collected by police to help identify victims and link them with families. Locals described the tragedy as devastating, with entire families affected and confusion over exact casualties still ongoing. Some reports suggest multiple deaths on different floors due to smoke inhalation and suffocation. Most victims were reportedly asleep at the time of the incident, which worsened the fatal impact. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the fire and establish the final death toll.
