Scenic locations such as Gulmarg and Sonmarg are witnessing heavy snow accumulation, transforming the region into a winter wonderland. Gulmarg, a major tourist destination, is fully covered in snow, drawing attention for its breathtaking visuals despite the harsh weather conditions. Similar scenes are emerging from Sonmarg, where snowfall continues unabated. While higher-altitude areas are experiencing heavy snow, plains across north India are facing a double impact of dense fog and severe cold wave conditions. Poor visibility due to fog has also affected road movement, causing inconvenience to commuters and travelers.
