On December 25, a music concert held in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, turned chaotic, forcing organizers to stop the event midway due to poor crowd control. The concert was organized at Meera Maidan to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Renowned singer Kailash Kher had just begun his live performance when a large section of the crowd became unruly and rushed toward the stage. Several attendees broke through security barricades, overpowering security personnel, and a few even managed to climb onto the stage, creating a serious safety risk. Kailash Kher repeatedly appealed to the audience to maintain calm and requested police authorities to strengthen security arrangements. Despite these efforts, the situation failed to improve. Concerned for the safety of everyone present, the singer eventually left the stage, leading to the abrupt cancellation of the concert. While no major injuries were officially reported, the incident highlighted significant lapses in crowd management and security during a high-profile public event in Gwalior.
