A new video from Goa’s Romeo Lane nightclub fire has surfaced, revealing how a small spark quickly turned into a massive inferno on the night of December 6. Within minutes, the club—packed with tourists—was engulfed in flames, leaving 25 people dead, including five foreign tourists. The visuals show red-hot flames erupting from palm-leaf décor that caught fire instantly, triggering chaos as people scrambled to escape through smoke-filled rooms. In the aftermath, authorities demolished the illegal structures of the nightclub located at Baga–Tura Beach. The Goa Tourism Department and police have sealed two additional properties linked to the Luthra brothers, including the popular “Kaha Club” at Anjuna. Despite multiple raids, club owners Gaurav and Saurav Luthra remain missing. Police say the duo fled early on December 7 on an IndiGo flight before an FIR was officially filed later that day. Questions are now being raised over why a lookout notice wasn’t issued earlier. Opposition parties, including the Congress and Samajwadi Party, have accused authorities of allowing the owners to escape, drawing parallels to past high-profile fugitives. Meanwhile, police have arrested six individuals so far, including partner Ajay Gupta, as the investigation intensifies.
