A major development has emerged in the Katni murder case in Madhya Pradesh, where the prime accused Akram Khan and Prince Joseph were injured during an encounter with the police. Both men were wanted for allegedly shooting a young man dead in a recent murder incident that shocked the local community. Acting on intelligence inputs, police traced the suspects and attempted to arrest them, but the accused opened fire, leading to a brief but intense exchange of bullets. During the encounter, both accused sustained injuries and were subsequently taken into custody. They are currently under medical treatment and will be interrogated once declared fit by doctors. Police have also recovered weapons used in the crime.
