Senior BJP leaders have described the election outcome as a “victory of the idea of a Developed India,” stating that what they call vote-bank politics has been rejected by voters across regions. According to party leaders, the BJP has registered strong performance across eastern India, with Assam showing steady results and claims of widespread support for the party’s agenda. In Tamil Nadu, leaders alleged that anti-BJP politics has been rejected by the electorate, while in Puducherry, they stated that an NDA-led government is set to form again. Leaders credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the organisational strategy of Amit Shah for the results. They also praised other senior party leaders, including Shivraj Singh Chouhan, for their contributions during the campaign. Amid the celebrations, party leaders highlighted what they described as strong public trust in their leadership and vision for a developed India. In West Bengal, updated trends indicate BJP leading with 194 seats compared to 93 seats for TMC in the 293-member assembly, according to the figures being discussed during the counting process. The political narrative remains intense as parties continue to interpret the mandate in their favour while final confirmation of results is awaited.
