Dularchand Case: Jan Suraj Worker Shot Dead In Mokama, Video Of Attack Goes Viral

In a shocking turn of events ahead of the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, Jan Suraj supporter Dularchand Yadav was shot dead in Mokama, sparking a major political storm. The incident took place in Ghoswari, within the constituency of JDU strongman Anant Singh. According to reports, Dularchand was part of Jan Suraj candidate Piyush Priyadarshi’s campaign convoy when an altercation broke out. Witnesses claim that Anant Singh’s supporters attacked the Jan Suraj convoy with sticks and later opened fire. Police investigations and eyewitness statements suggest that Dularchand was first beaten, then shot in the leg, and allegedly run over by a vehicle. His grandson has accused Anant Singh of involvement, while Singh has blamed RJD’s Suraj Bhan for the murder. The viral video of the attack has intensified debate over law and order, with the killing reigniting the jungle raj versus good governance narrative in Bihar’s heated political atmosphere.
