In a major breakthrough, the Delhi Police have arrested two suspected terrorists allegedly planning a Fidayeen (suicide) attack. According to official information shared by the Delhi Police, one of the accused hails from Delhi while the other is a resident of Madhya Pradesh. Both were reportedly in direct contact with Pakistan-based handlers and had been receiving training for a possible attack.The arrests are being seen as a significant success for the Delhi Police’s Special Cell, which had been tracking the suspects’ movements for several days. One of the arrests took place in Delhi’s Sadiq Nagar area, where police also recovered suspicious materials from the suspect’s residence. Preliminary investigations suggest that the two were in advanced stages of planning and were coordinating their moves using encrypted communication channels.Sources confirm that both accused were being groomed for a potential Fidayeen-style operation targeting key locations in the capital. The Special Cell is currently conducting detailed interrogations to uncover their network and identify any possible local associates.The case has been transferred for further intelligence coordination, as agencies continue to probe the Pakistan link behind the plot.
