Delhi News: UAPA case filed in Red Fort blast, agencies trace i20 car to Pulwama link

The investigation into the Red Fort blast has intensified as Delhi Police and multiple central agencies, including NSG and FSL teams, continue to examine the scene. An FIR under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) has been filed at Kotwali Police Station, confirming possible terror links. Six bodies have been identified so far, with postmortems completed for five, while efforts are underway to identify remaining body parts. Investigators traced a Hyundai i20 car, registered in Haryana under Mohammad Salman’s name, reportedly used in the blast. Salman claimed to have sold it to a man in Okhla, after which Pulwama residents Aamir and Umar emerged as last owners. However, their families denied any such purchase, asserting their vehicle remains parked at home. CCTV footage shows the car parked for hours near Red Fort before the explosion, and over 200 officers are scanning footage and questioning suspects as the multi-agency probe continues.
