Chhattisgarh News: Massive Fire Breaks Out at District Education Officer Office in Raipur, Documents Destroyed

A major fire incident was reported from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, after a blaze broke out at the District Education Officer (DEO) office, triggering panic in the area. The fire reportedly originated in the storeroom, where several important documents and official records were kept, resulting in significant losses. According to preliminary information, the fire is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit. Flames were visible from nearly one kilometer away, highlighting the intensity of the blaze. Visuals from the spot showed chaos and confusion as staff and officials rushed to control the situation. Fire brigade teams were immediately dispatched and managed to bring the fire under control after sustained efforts. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far. However, the damage to official records has raised concerns, as several crucial documents were completely gutted in the fire. Authorities have initiated an investigation to assess the extent of the damage and confirm the exact cause of the fire. Restoration and documentation recovery measures are expected to begin soon.
