The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a fresh update regarding its portal for answer sheet verification and re-evaluation, assuring students that the website is expected to resume operations by 2 PM today. The announcement comes after hours of technical issues and delays that left thousands of Class 12 students unable to access the platform. Earlier in the day, students reported that the portal remained either inaccessible or showed an “under maintenance” status despite the scheduled launch. The board had previously indicated that the facility would be made available from June 1, leading to widespread anticipation among students awaiting re-evaluation and rechecking of their answer sheets. According to the latest information shared by CBSE, preparations to stabilize the system are underway, and the portal is likely to be fully functional by 2 PM. The board has also advised students to rely only on official notifications and avoid confusion caused by unverified updates circulating on social media. The delay has caused concern among students, many of whom had already shortlisted specific answer scripts and questions for re-evaluation due to discrepancies or suspected evaluation errors. Some students had also reported issues such as unclear markings and possible checking mistakes in their answer sheets.
