Breaking: Woman Gang-Raped in Moving Car in Faridabad, Thrown Out After Assault

A horrifying incident of gang rape has been reported from Faridabad, raising serious concerns over women’s safety in the Delhi-NCR region. According to police sources, the crime was allegedly committed under the pretext of offering a lift. The victim’s sister informed the police that after an argument with their mother at home, the woman left to visit a friend. While on her way, an Eco van driver offered her a lift. At the time, two other men were already present inside the vehicle. The victim alleged that she was assaulted by the men inside the moving vehicle for nearly two hours as the car was driven around the Faridabad–Gurugram road. Later, around 3 a.m., the accused allegedly threw her out of the moving vehicle near the SGM Nagar area, leaving her seriously injured. She was rushed to a hospital in Faridabad, where she is currently undergoing treatment. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter. Efforts are underway to identify and arrest the accused based on the victim’s statement and CCTV footage from nearby areas. The incident has sparked outrage and once again highlighted lapses in women’s safety and night-time security in the NCR. Authorities have assured strict action against those responsible.
