In Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich district, fear continues to rise as a rogue wolf has been attacking cattle for over ten days. The latest incident occurred in Babhanan Purva village, where the predator targeted livestock once again. Villagers, armed with sticks and rods, chased the wolf, forcing it to flee into nearby fields. However, the animal had already fatally injured a cow during the attack. According to locals, the wolf has claimed multiple cattle over the past several days. Despite continuous efforts, forest department teams have failed to capture it, leaving villagers to patrol their settlements on their own for protection.Meanwhile, in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur, a massive fire broke out at Gol Bazaar late at night, sparking panic across the area. The blaze, reportedly triggered by a short circuit, began in a single shop but quickly spread to four others, damaging clothing, footwear, bags, and dry fruit stores. Houses located within the market added to the chaos as smoke engulfed the area.
