Dense fog has enveloped the India–Pakistan international border in Jammu, reducing visibility to just a few metres and raising serious security concerns ahead of Christmas and New Year. Security forces have been put on high alert as Pakistan may attempt infiltration under the cover of foggy conditions. The BSF, along with Jammu and Kashmir Police, is maintaining heightened vigilance along sensitive border stretches, including areas opposite Sialkot and Shakargarh in Pakistan. Intensive search and combing operations are underway in Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts to prevent any infiltration attempts. Security personnel are thoroughly checking border villages, dense vegetation and forested areas to ensure no terrorists or weapons are hidden. Exclusive visuals show round-the-clock monitoring and coordinated operations to maintain border security during the winter season.
