The Uttar Pradesh unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a major organisational reshuffle, unveiling its new state team with expanded leadership roles across key positions. The newly constituted structure includes 19 vice presidents, 8 general secretaries, and 19 secretaries, reflecting a wide-ranging distribution of responsibilities within the party’s state framework. Among the prominent names in the new lineup is Rajnath Singh’s son Neeraj Singh, who has been appointed as one of the vice presidents. Former minister Suresh Rana has also been included in the vice president category, marking his continued significance in the state organisation. Other notable inclusions in the leadership structure include Archana Mishra and Pooja Pal, both of whom have been assigned vice presidential responsibilities. The reshuffle is seen as part of the party’s effort to strengthen its organisational network at the grassroots level while balancing experience and new leadership within the state unit. Party sources indicate that the restructuring aims to enhance coordination between district-level units and the state leadership, especially in preparation for upcoming political and electoral challenges in Uttar Pradesh. The expanded team is expected to play a key role in outreach, mobilisation, and implementation of party strategies across regions. The announcement reflects a strategic recalibration within the party’s state machinery, focusing on inclusivity of different social and regional representations. The distribution of roles across multiple tiers is intended to streamline decision-making and improve administrative efficiency within the organisation.
