BREAKING UPDATE: Court Dismisses Case Against Kejriwal & Sisodia; Alleged CBI-ED Misuse Exposed

A political storm has erupted as the Delhi High Court dismissed a high-profile case against former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia before the trial could even begin. Political analyst Saurabh Bhardwaj highlighted that the charges were so weak and baseless that multiple courts, including the Supreme Court, had already questioned their validity. The judgment underscores concerns over alleged misuse of investigative agencies like the CBI and ED, which Sisodia and Kejriwal claimed were acting under political influence to target anti-corruption initiatives. Sisodia had reportedly faced pressure to abandon Kejriwal and was allegedly offered the Delhi CM position in exchange, which he refused. Bhardwaj noted the case caused unnecessary political and social strain, keeping Kejriwal jailed for six months and Sisodia for two years despite no substantive evidence. He emphasized that the ruling sends a strong message about judicial scrutiny, political neutrality, and the importance of protecting honest public servants. The verdict also arrives ahead of crucial elections in Punjab and Gujarat, raising questions about political maneuvering and the role of central agencies in electoral politics. Analysts suggest this outcome could strengthen AAP’s narrative of integrity and governance while exposing alleged attempts to manipulate the justice system for political advantage.
