Breaking: Two Earthquakes Strike Himachal’s Chamba District Within An Hour, Tremors Also In Pakistan

Big news from Himachal Pradesh, where Chamba district experienced two back-to-back earthquakes early this morning. The first tremor was recorded at 3:27 AM with a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter scale, followed by a stronger quake at 4:39 AM measuring 4.0. Both quakes were mild but caused panic among residents, many of whom rushed out of their homes fearing aftershocks.Adding to the seismic activity in the region, another earthquake was reported in Pakistan at 2:38 AM, with a magnitude of 3.7. While no damage or casualties have been reported so far in Himachal Pradesh or Pakistan, the frequency of tremors has raised concern among locals. Authorities have advised residents to remain alert but not to panic, assuring that monitoring systems are closely tracking seismic activity.Chamba, situated in a seismically sensitive zone, has witnessed several mild earthquakes in recent years. Experts suggest that while such low-intensity tremors are not uncommon, preparedness remains key to minimizing risks.
