Breaking News: Stone-Pelting Incident Triggers Chaos in Sehore as Karni Sena Convoy Attacked, Vehicles Damaged

A tense situation unfolded late Sunday night in Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh after a convoy of Karni Sena activists was allegedly attacked with stones, leading to widespread chaos and road blockage. The incident occurred around 9 PM in the Ashta area when Karni Sena workers were returning from a protest held in Harda and heading towards Bhopal via the old Bhopal–Indore road. According to initial reports, several activists had stopped near Alipur Chauraha for food when a minor dispute reportedly broke out over a trivial issue. What began as a verbal argument soon escalated, resulting in stone-pelting. At least 12 vehicles were damaged, with their window panes shattered. Several people sustained injuries in the incident, though no fatalities have been reported so far. Following the stone-pelting, Karni Sena members staged a road blockade, leading to further disruption and heightened tension in the area. Police forces were immediately deployed to control the situation and restore law and order. Authorities confirmed that the situation is currently under control, and traffic has since been normalized. Karni Sena leaders have alleged that the incident was deliberate and part of a conspiracy to disturb communal harmony. However, police officials stated that preliminary findings suggest the clash stemmed from a personal dispute rather than an organized communal conflict. An investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause and identify those responsible.
