Breaking News: Security Forces Engage Militants in Singhpur Forest Amid Search Operation

A major encounter is underway in Singhpur forests, Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir, as security forces clash with militants in an ongoing search operation. The operation was launched after intelligence reports suggested the presence of militants hiding in the dense forest areas of Singhpur. Sources indicate that the operation is being intensified ahead of Republic Day on 26th January, to prevent any potential threats. During the search, militants reportedly opened fire on the security personnel, prompting a retaliatory response. The forces are conducting a systematic cordon and search, combing the forested region to neutralize the threat. Authorities have urged locals to remain cautious while the operation continues, emphasizing that safety measures are being strictly followed.
