The second postmortem of model Twisha Sharma has begun at All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Bhopal following a High Court order. A five-member team of forensic experts from AIIMS Delhi has been sent to conduct the fresh autopsy after the family raised serious concerns about possible irregularities and alleged tampering in the initial postmortem report. The family had demanded a re-examination, claiming external influence and procedural doubts in the earlier investigation. The High Court approved their plea and directed a new medical board for a detailed forensic review. Twisha’s father reportedly expressed suspicions about pressure and interference in the case. During the ongoing SIT investigation, Twisha’s husband Samarth Singh stated that her behaviour had changed during pregnancy. The family remains present at the mortuary as the second postmortem continues, which is expected to provide clarity on the cause of death and address the unanswered questions surrounding the case
