Breaking News: Protests Spread Across Indian Cities Over Alleged Attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, VHP Submits Memorandum

Public anger continues to grow in India over alleged attacks on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh, following the killing of a Hindu youth. Members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) held protests in several cities, including Delhi, Kolkata, and Bhopal, demanding safety, dignity, and protection for Hindus in Bangladesh. Protesters gathered with placards and raised slogans calling for an end to what they described as continued atrocities against the Hindu community. In Delhi, demonstrators assembled near the Bangladesh High Commission under heavy security arrangements. Protesters stated that a memorandum had been submitted by VHP leadership, warning that protests would continue if violence against Hindus does not stop. Similar demonstrations were reported in Kolkata, where lawyers and members of civil groups also joined the protests, expressing strong condemnation of the killing. Visuals from multiple cities showed large crowds, national flags, and banners demanding justice and accountability. Protesters accused the Bangladesh government of remaining silent and failing to protect minority communities. The killing was described by demonstrators as brutal and inhumane, sparking nationwide outrage. Authorities across states remained on alert to maintain law and order as emotions ran high. Police forces were deployed in sensitive areas to prevent unrest. The protests underline growing public pressure on the government to raise concerns at international and diplomatic levels regarding minority rights in Bangladesh.
