Breaking News: Protest Erupts in Chitrakoot After Killing of 14-Year-Old Merchant’s Son, Police Engage Suspects

Tensions escalated in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh, after the murder of a 14-year-old boy, son of a local cloth merchant. The teenager was reportedly kidnapped before being killed, triggering widespread outrage in the Bargad area. Locals staged protests against the crime, damaging public property and demanding swift action. Police deployed a heavy force to maintain law and order and prevent further unrest. Following the protests, authorities engaged in a confrontation with the suspects. One of the accused, identified as Irfan, was killed during the encounter, while another, named Kallu, sustained gunshot injuries and is now in police custody.
