Ahead of his formal coronation as the new National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nitin Naveen began the day by seeking blessings at prominent religious sites in the national capital. Early this morning, he left his residence and embarked on a spiritual visit that included prayers at the Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place, Jhandewalan Temple, and Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. He is also scheduled to visit the Valmiki Temple as part of his morning itinerary. During his departure, Nitin Naveen refrained from addressing the media and instead acknowledged greetings with folded hands. He is expected to reach the BJP headquarters by 10:00 AM, where a grand ceremony has been organized. The official announcement of his name as BJP National President will be made at 11:30 AM. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several senior party leaders will be present at the event, along with party workers from across the country. The morning’s spiritual visits are being seen as significant ahead of his assumption of this major organizational responsibility.
