Breaking News: NCPI MPs Skip NDA ‘Mangal Milan’ Meet Over Pending Lok Sabha Recognition

A major update from the NDA’s “Mangal Milan” meeting during the Parliament Monsoon Session as NCPI MPs were reportedly absent from the gathering. The reason cited is that the group has not yet received separate party recognition from the Lok Sabha Secretariat, preventing its members from being officially included as a distinct parliamentary group. According to reports, the NCPI faction comprises around 20 MPs who had separated from the Trinamool Congress and joined the new political grouping. However, until a formal decision is taken by the Lok Sabha Speaker and the parliamentary authorities, the group does not have an independent identity in the House. This is being cited as the reason behind their absence from the NDA meeting. The “Mangal Milan” meeting is being attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with senior NDA leaders, including the Defence Minister, Home Minister, and other alliance representatives. The meeting is expected to outline the NDA’s strategy for the ongoing Monsoon Session and provide guidance to MPs on handling upcoming parliamentary debates. The development comes amid a tense political atmosphere, with opposition parties targeting the government over issues including alleged paper leaks, the Ram Temple offerings controversy, and other matters. The opposition has been preparing to raise these issues aggressively during the session.
