Several major fire incidents were reported from different parts of India, causing significant property damage but limited casualties. In Delhi’s Majlis Park, a fire broke out on the third floor of a residential building belonging to a DRDO scientist. Five fire engines responded to the emergency and brought the blaze under control after extensive efforts. Fortunately, no one was injured because the scientist’s family was attending a wedding when the fire started, although the house was completely destroyed. In Sirohi, Rajasthan, two trailers collided head-on on the Kandla Highway, triggering a massive fire that engulfed both vehicles. The flames caused the tires to explode, creating loud blasts and panic in the surrounding area. Police and fire personnel eventually extinguished the fire. Meanwhile, in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh, a major blaze erupted at a mustard oil factory in the Madiyahun area. Firefighters battled the flames for nearly four hours before bringing the situation under control. Authorities estimate property losses exceeding ₹50 lakh, while the exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
