Breaking News: Forensic report confirms sexual assault in Patna NEET student murder case

In a shocking revelation in the Patna NEET student death case, the latest forensic report has confirmed that sexual assault occurred. Sperm traces were found on the victim’s body, validating concerns and questions raised about the case handling earlier. This disclosure has intensified scrutiny of the police investigation, with suspicions that attempts were made to protect the accused. The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) is currently preparing a DNA profile from the sperm samples to match with the suspect’s DNA. Authorities have emphasized that this step will help identify and prosecute the culprit with scientific certainty. In light of the new revelations, two police officers—Kadamkuan Police Station in-charge Hemant Jha and Chitrgupt Nagar SHO Roshni Kumari—have been suspended for negligence and failing to act responsibly during the investigation. Their suspension signals strict administrative action against lapses in handling sensitive cases. The disclosure has sparked widespread outrage among the public and student communities, demanding swift justice and accountability. Officials have assured that the investigation will continue under heightened scrutiny, with the DNA results expected to play a pivotal role in bringing the accused to justice and restoring faith in law enforcement.
