Breaking News : ED Raids Vijendra Hooda’s Residence in Meerut Over Bike Vote Scam and Fake Degree Case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out extensive raids in Meerut, including at the residence of Vijendra Hooda, in connection with the alleged Bike Vote scam and the Monad University fake degree case. Sources confirm that ED officials searched Hooda’s house and four other locations linked to him as part of their probe into suspected money laundering and financial irregularities. Vijendra Hooda, already facing charges in the Bike Vote scam, is also an accused in the Monad University fake degree racket, where bogus academic certificates were allegedly sold for large sums of money. The raids were conducted to trace unaccounted assets, financial documents, and digital records potentially tied to illegal transactions. Officials from the ED, accompanied by local police, initiated the operation early in the morning and continued for several hours. The agency is expected to summon Hooda for questioning and may extend the probe to other individuals connected to the case. This action underscores the ED’s continued crackdown on financial crimes and education-related frauds across Uttar Pradesh.
