PM Modi appealed to all NDA MPs to unanimously support Radhakrishnan and also urged opposition parties to back his candidacy, emphasizing the non-controversial and honest nature of his political career. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, while briefing the media, praised CP Radhakrishnan’s clean image, simple lifestyle, and decades of dedicated service to society and the nation. He highlighted that Radhakrishnan has never been involved in any corruption or controversy and is known for his ability to build relationships across party lines. Radhakrishnan, a senior BJP leader from Tamil Nadu, is widely credited with strengthening the party’s presence in the state. His inclusive nature and commitment to democratic values were appreciated by all NDA allies present in the meeting.
