Breaking News: CP Radhakrishnan Introduced as NDA VP Candidate; PM Appeals to Opposition | ABP NEWS

In a key development from Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the ongoing NDA Parliamentary Party meeting and introduced CP Radhakrishnan as the NDA’s official Vice Presidential candidate. PM Modi appealed to all NDA MPs to unanimously support Radhakrishnan and also urged opposition parties to back his candidacy, emphasizing the non-controversial and honest nature of his political career. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, while briefing the media, praised CP Radhakrishnan’s clean image, simple lifestyle, and decades of dedicated service to society and the nation. He highlighted that Radhakrishnan has never been involved in any corruption or controversy and is known for his ability to build relationships across party lines. Radhakrishnan, a senior BJP leader from Tamil Nadu, is widely credited with strengthening the party’s presence in the state. His inclusive nature and commitment to democratic values were appreciated by all NDA allies present in the meeting. The Prime Minister also thanked all NDA members for backing a candidate of such integrity and urged the opposition to rise above party politics and support his election unanimously for the greater good of the nation.
