A major update has emerged from the cruise accident at Bargi Dam in Jabalpur. One more woman’s body has been recovered from the submerged cruise, taking the death toll to six so far. The incident occurred when a cruise carrying 39 passengers capsized due to sudden strong winds and rough waters. Search and rescue operations are still underway, with several people still missing. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) along with local administration teams are continuing intensive efforts at the site. Reports suggest that around nine people are still unaccounted for, while some passengers managed to escape or were rescued safely. Eyewitness accounts indicate possible issues with safety measures, including concerns over life jackets and delayed response during the emergency. Authorities are also investigating the exact cause of the accident, which remains under review.
