Breaking News: Aadhaar Accepted as Valid ID Proof in Voter Registration, Election Commission’s Major Decision

Previously, only 11 official documents were recognized for voter ID verification. Following the Supreme Court’s directive, the ECI has now included Aadhaar as the 12th accepted document. However, officials clarified that Aadhaar will be used only for identity verification, not for automatic inclusion in the voter list.
