Breaking: Massive Fire Breaks Out at Hotel Vitthal in Prayagraj Civil Lines, Rescue Operation On

A massive fire broke out at Hotel Vitthal in the busy Civil Lines area of Prayagraj, triggering panic and a large-scale emergency response in one of the city’s most crowded commercial zones. According to initial reports, thick black smoke and intense flames were seen rising from the hotel building located near several major establishments, including shopping complexes, offices, restaurants, and the well-known Indian Coffee House. The area also includes prominent commercial buildings such as Indira Bhavan, making the situation highly sensitive due to the dense cluster of adjoining structures. Fire brigade teams rushed to the spot and rescue operations are currently underway. Multiple fire tenders have been deployed as officials attempt to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby buildings and marketplaces. Authorities have started clearing surrounding shops and restaurants, especially locations storing inflammable materials, as a precautionary measure. Officials on the ground stated that no casualties or trapped individuals have been confirmed so far, which is being seen as a major relief amid the escalating fire emergency. However, the exact cause of the blaze remains unclear at this stage. The Civil Lines area witnessed heavy chaos and traffic disruption as smoke engulfed the locality and emergency personnel cordoned off nearby sections. Senior administrative and police officials have also reached the spot to monitor rescue and firefighting efforts. Given the congested nature of the area and the close proximity of multi-storey commercial buildings, authorities are treating the situation with extreme urgency to avoid a larger disaster.
