Breaking: India Shines as Women’s Blind Cricket & Kabaddi Teams Win Historic World Titles

India is witnessing a moment of immense pride as its athletes deliver outstanding performances across multiple global sporting events. On 23 November 2025, the Indian Women’s Blind Cricket Team created history by defeating Nepal to win the first-ever T20 Women’s Blind Cricket World Cup 2025. Continuing the nation’s winning streak, the Indian Women’s Kabaddi Team triumphed over Chinese Taipei on 24 November 2025 to secure the Women’s Kabaddi World Cup title. Meanwhile, India has also performed exceptionally at the Japan Deaf Olympics, held from 15 to 26 November 2025. The country has so far won a remarkable 20 medals, including nine gold, showcasing the determination, discipline, and extraordinary skill of young Indian athletes. In other news, tributes continue to pour in for legendary Bollywood icon Dharmendra, whose monumental contribution to Indian cinema earned him the Padma Bhushan in 2012 and the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997. Dharmendra passed away on 24 November 2015 in Mumbai at the age of 85, leaving behind a legacy cherished by millions. Leaders including Shri Prakash Jayswal expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families, observing silence in honor of the departed souls. “Om Shanti,” he said.
