Breaking: Delhi Becomes Nerve Centre for Bengal Govt Formation, CM Face Talks Intensify Fast

New Delhi has emerged as the Center of high-stakes political activity as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) accelerates preparations for forming the new government in West Bengal. A series of crucial meetings involving top leadership is underway, with key decisions expected within the next 48 to 72 hours. Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the BJP headquarters, a high-level meeting was held with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP president Nitin Navin, and former president J. P. Nadda. The discussions focused on government formation, leadership selection, and planning the swearing-in ceremony. BJP General Secretary and Bengal in-charge Sunil Bansal is set to arrive in Delhi after holding a key meeting in Kolkata’s Salt Lake office. His discussions with central leadership will play a decisive role in finalizing the legislative party meeting, appointing observers, and selecting the Chief Minister. The swearing-in ceremony is likely to take place on May 9, a date highlighted by the Prime Minister as culturally significant due to Rabindranath Tagore’s birth anniversary. The move is being viewed as a strategic attempt to align governance with regional sentiment. Meanwhile, Suvendu Adhikari has emerged as a leading contender for the Chief Minister’s post. Celebrations among party workers in Kolkata reflect strong grassroots support for his leadership, especially after his recent electoral victories over Mamata Banerjee. While no official announcement has been made yet, the BJP leadership is expected to finalize key decisions soon. With continuous coordination between Kolkata and Delhi, the political landscape of West Bengal is set for a defining moment as the party prepares to assume power.
