Farmers have expressed grave concern, appealing to the government for urgent action to repair the breached dam and restore normalcy before the situation worsens further.Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited Punjab to assess the damage and assured that the central government would extend all possible assistance.
