A fresh development has emerged in Karnataka’s political landscape as Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar is scheduled to meet Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for breakfast at 9 am. The meeting was called at the CM’s residence following instructions from the party’s high command.Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated that whatever decision the central leadership takes regarding the leadership issue, they will abide by it. Reacting to the ongoing tension, BJP spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari said the Congress is busy fighting over the Chief Minister’s chair while the people of Karnataka continue to suffer. He further alleged that Rahul Gandhi and the Vadra family lack confidence in their own leadership. Former Karnataka CM also commented that both Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar have ego-driven differences, forcing the party high command to intervene and bring them to the discussion table.
