Breaking: Cloudburst In Chamoli Uttarakhand, Five Missing As Rescue Ops Continue Amid Heavy Rains

Fresh trouble has struck Uttarakhand as a cloudburst was reported once again in Chamoli district, leaving five people missing in Nandnagar. Heavy rains triggered landslides and flooding, damaging multiple houses and burying several vehicles under debris. Rescue and relief teams have been deployed at the site, with operations currently underway to trace the missing and provide immediate assistance to the affected families.The region has been grappling with record-breaking rainfall this season, and repeated cloudbursts have caused widespread destruction across several districts. Local administration confirmed that many houses have suffered severe damage while roads remain blocked due to mud and debris, complicating relief operations. Officials have urged residents to remain alert as forecasts indicate continued rainfall in the coming days.Meanwhile, another controversy has surfaced after a viral video from a medical college hospital raised serious questions about the safety of newborns. Hospital authorities have denied the authenticity of the clip, but the matter has fueled public concern.On the political front, Bihar’s Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav resumed his “Bihar Adhikar Yatra,” reaching Mokama, a stronghold of strongman Anant Singh. Addressing supporters, he criticized gun-based politics, pledging to carve out a new political direction focused on people’s rights.
