Breaking: Clash Between Two Groups In Hingoli Over Procession Music Leaves 15 Injured

A violent clash broke out in Weltur village, Sengaon Taluka, Hingoli district, Maharashtra, during a local procession, leaving over 15 people injured. According to police and eyewitness reports, the conflict began over the playing of music during the procession. Tensions escalated quickly, resulting in stone-pelting and physical fights between the two groups.Police arrived at the scene and took control of the situation, restoring calm. Injured individuals were immediately taken for medical treatment, while authorities increased vigilance in the area. Officers in both uniform and plainclothes are patrolling the village to prevent further violence and to identify and apprehend those responsible. Several individuals have already been taken into custody for questioning.Initial investigations suggest that the dispute erupted when one group opposed the music being played by the other, leading to heated arguments that escalated into a full-blown confrontation. Authorities are investigating whether the clash was spontaneous or if there was any premeditated plan behind the violence. The local administration has called for heightened security during future processions to prevent similar incidents. Residents are urged to maintain peace as investigations continue, and police continue to monitor the situation closely.
