A major development has emerged in the murder of gangster Inderpreet Singh alias “Harry,” who was shot dead in Chandigarh’s Sector 26. Newly surfaced CCTV footage has significantly strengthened the police investigation. In the video, Inderpreet’s white car is seen stopping, and moments later the attacker steps out of the same vehicle. Police say the shooter was seated inside Harry’s car and fired at point-blank range. After the killing, the gunman is seen running towards another car arriving from behind and escaping with the second vehicle. Following the murder, a social media post—allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang—claimed responsibility, though ABP News does not verify the post. The message accused Harry of extorting money from Chandigarh clubs using the names of Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and Rohit Godara. Soon after, an unverified audio clip surfaced in which Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar alleged that the murder was ordered by Lawrence Bishnoi, exposing a major rift between the once-allied Bishnoi and Brar gangs. Police sources say both Harry and Brar had past links, but shifting loyalties may have triggered the killing. With both gangs openly accusing each other, security agencies now expect the Punjab–Chandigarh region to witness a sharper escalation in gang rivalry in the coming days.
